Charities & Organisations

There are many excellent charities, organisations and groups around the UK supporting ADHD, I have listed some of them below. If you need support then these groups may be able to help.

*This list is not exhaustive- I will continue to add more information about groups around the UK, Ireland and beyond. If you are a charity, organisation or group that supports children, adults (or both) and/or parents, please contact me and I can add your details here.

The Scottish ADHD Coalition

“The Scottish ADHD Coalition was launched in June 2017 to bring together the voluntary organisations providing support to adults and children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in Scotland, and their parents, carers and families.”

ADHD Foundation

“The ADHD Foundation works in partnership with individuals, families, doctors, teachers and other agencies to improving emotional well being, educational attainment, behaviour and life chances through better understanding and self management of ADHD, ASD and related learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, Irlen’s Syndrome, dyscalculia and Tourette’s Syndrome. We also provide training for GP’s, Teachers, Social Care agencies and other professionals, raising awareness to bring about positive change and inclusion in mental health, education and employment.”

ADHD Action

“ADHD Action was founded after experiencing first-hand the impact that lack of awareness and patchy or non-existent provision can have on individuals and families.
Let’s work together for the sake of others, so they don’t have to suffer as we have.”

ADDISS
